Melbourne Art Fair is an exhibition of leading contemporary art,
presented by over 80 selected national and international galleries.
The biennial event features paintings, sculpture, photography,
installation and multi media art works of over 900 artists and
attracts up to 30,000 visitors.
Join Sue Gardiner as she tours the Art Fair and the best of the
rest of Melbourne over for days.

Day 1. 02 August
This morning we fly to Melbourne at approx. 8am. On arrival transfer
to our hotel for the next four nights. This afternoon we will
visit Gertrude Street. A contemporary art space and artist studios
to meet the curator and visit an artist in their studio. Later
we will walk the few minutes down Brunswick Street to the Sutton
Gallery where we will end our day.
Day 2. 03 August
This morning we will attend the key note lecture of the Melbourne
Art Fair before heading to the Art Fair itself for the day. With
approximately 70 galleries and project spaces to visit we will
need all day.
Day 3. 04 August
Today we will visit various dealer galleries in central Melbourne,
and end the day with a welcome and well earned drink at a local
establishment.
Day 4. 05 August
Today we will venture by bus to either Heide Museum or TarraWarra
Museum of Art
Day 5. 06 August
This morning we check out and head home to Auckland.
