Welcome to the Museum of Old and New Art, MONA, now recognized as the preeminent art institution in the southern hemisphere. Miles of corten steel, cavernous galleries seemingly hewn into the side of a cliff and amazing art of course. Couple this with a fantastic restaurant, café and winebar and the rest of Hobart’s food, art and markets and you have a very good reason to visit Tasmania. Join Sue Gardiner as she spends time at MONA, around Hobart and a day and half in Melbourne on the way through.
