Wellington and Whanganui Open Studios 2020
This year we start in Wellington for two days before heading north visiting arriving for a weekend of art and culture in Whanganui. Here we spend the weekend discover the regions “Open Studios”. Visiting artists and studios, engaging with painters, makers, glass artists and sculptors. Always a fun weekend.

Day 1. Wednesday, 25 March 2020
Please arrive in Wellington by mid afternoon today. Time permitting we will take a visit to the City Gallery.
Overnight Wellington
Day 2. Thursday, 26 March 2020
We visit dealer galleries, catch the national art collection at Te Papa, visit Avid Gallery, Suite and Vessel, including a drive around Island Bay.

Day 3. Friday, 27 March 2020
This morning we head out of town to visit The Dowse Museum and Pataka Gallery, before getting on the road to Whanganui, where we will arrive late afternoon.

Day 4 & 5 Saturday and Sunday, 28 & 29 March 2020
We spend two full days in and around Whanganui visiting open studios, catching up with friends and catching the updated collection at the Quartz Museum and enjoy a farewell group meal.

Day 6. Monday, 30 March 2020
Today we drop you in either Whanganui or Palmerston North for your flight home.

Please budget $1649 per person twin share for 5 nights. A single supplement of $540 applies.
