Spend time with me, The Art Tour Guide, experiencing our place and its people. Visit galleries, meet artists and collectors. Enjoy a range of locations around Auckland city and region. Journey from our central city to Matakana in the north, Titirangi in the west and discover our art and culture at every opportunity.
Day Tour 1 – Tuesday 18 November 2025
Today we are heading north to Matakana, to meet a couple of local artists and makers before lunch at Brick Bay Winery and Sculpture Trail.
We will be back in town midafternoon, and on the way will stop in at a local gallery before finishing up at Studio One Toi Tu.
Day Tour 2 – Wednesday 19 November 2025
Start today in downtown with a walk around the public work around the Britomart Precinct.
This is followed by a walk out to the nearby Lighthouse one of Auckland’s best kept secrets. We head up Queen Street to Karangahape Road and experience some of the galleries around the Uptown Loop including including Masterworks and Anna Miles Gallery, walk before finishing at Studio One Toi Tu.
Day Tour 3 – Thursday 20 November 2025
Enjoy breakfast, before heading out for the day.
For the first half of the day we are in West Auckland, starting at Te Uru Gallery to view the Portage Ceramic Awards in Titirangi, making our way into town via The Arts House Trust and Gow Langsford Gallery. We end up visiting some of the galleries in the Ponsonby and Grey Lynn precinct including Orex, Suite and Seasons Aotearoa.
Day Tour 4 – Friday 21 November 2025
Today is an opportunity to join me on the bus for a visit to Gibbs Farm. An hour northwest of Auckland, spend a day along the Kaipara Harbour among the large scale sculptures by Anish Kapoor, Richard Serra and many more.
Your itinerary is subject to change due to the availability of artists and exhibitions.

A discount is available for multiple days of 5%
No discount is available for Gibbs Farm Day Tour
